Reporting to the Group Business Manager of the Customer Service Centre, the **Rotable Component Supply Manager** is responsible to provide strategic direction and decision making on supply of components to customer orders and plans.
The role will leverage long-term planning resources to source WesTrac and alternate component supply options, with accountabilities to develop supply options with Caterpillar. Component supply will be focusing on major mobile machine components such as Engine's, Transmissions and other critical power train components.
The overall purpose of the position is to consolidate and order supply options for strategic planning, capitalising on growing market opportunities and providing a seamless customer experience. We are looking for an individual excited to work across diverse stakeholders and partner to continuously improve component our supply business.
**Location**: South Guildford, WA
**Roster**:Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days
**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute significantly to improve the WA Product component planning strategy that monitors fleet, equipment size changes, analysis component repair options and stock levels
- Work with the Parts Exchange Manager to optimise component stock strategy & component rebuild business planning to compliment rotable component options to meet plan and market demands
- Prepare submission of approvals through business case justification for Caterpillar rotables
- Actively engage with external customers to build strong relationships to understand rebuild forecasts and requirements
- Lead engagements with Caterpillar for forecasting and review of their supply options to meet future component and machine rebuild requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities
**To be successful the following is required**:
- Tertiary Qualification or significant industry experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with industrial or mining mobile/fixed plant maintenance or parts management
- Experience with pricing and planning systems
- Proven time management & organisational skills
- Sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong communication, relationship building, influencing and interpersonal skills
