Kenko Sushi House @ University of Queensland ST LUCIA
Kenko Sushi House is a Japanese takeaway shop located in the main food court of the UQ St Lucia campus. We are a fast paced shop selling a range of sushi and rice bowls. Hiring staff for the new semester.
Casual positions available:
1) Front of the house customer service
Some responsibilities include:
* Serving customers sushi
* Using cash registers (POS)
* Assist BOH
Shifts will be Monday to Friday around 3-7 hours/day between 10:00am to 7:00pm
MUST HAVE:
* Fluent in English
* Experience in customer service, POS system and cash handling skills
* Experience working in a fast paced environment
* Fast learner
2) Kitchen Hand
Responsibilities may include (depending on shift times):
* Food handling and preparation
* Making hot food orders
* Making Sushi rolls
Shifts range from 5 – 8hours between 6am till 7pm for 4-5 days during weekdays.
MUST HAVE:
* Minimum 6 months kitchen working experience
* Experience working in a fast paced environment
* Fluent in English
