Assistant Project Officer
The Assistant Project Officer role provides administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and tracking project progress.
The role will assist with downloading and reviewing relevant documents, regulatory materials, summarising key findings and identifying contentious issues.
The role requires the ability to use SharePoint to sort documents into corresponding folders and Excel to track documents. TRIM skills are also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a range of administrative and project support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
* Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate the exchange of information.
* Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
* Undertake research and analysis and interpret regulatory performance data and trends.
Requirements
* A valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education.
