Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role combines sales support, customer engagement, and operational tasks, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, customer service, and internal operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a knack for organisation, and a customer-first mindset.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support:
o Research and create potential customer lists from specified markets, industries, and locations, identifying the right contacts.
o Conduct outreach to position Checkpoint Group and secure appointments with key prospects in industries like mining, manufacturing, and warehousing.
o Prepare detailed quotes for the cabinet product category, follow up on leads, and assist with order processing.
o Track and validate quote expirations, re-quote as necessary, and maintain records.
o Manage the sales inbox, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly.
2. Customer Engagement:
o Schedule and coordinate regular servicing appointments for clients.
o Follow up on quotes to ensure a high conversion rate.
o Act as the first line of technical support, triaging customer issues and directing more complex queries to relevant team members. Training will be provided.
o Monitor and manage social media posts, comments, and engagement to build brand presence.


Key Qualifications

1. Proven experience in sales support, operations coordination, or customer service roles.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-first approach.
3. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in using CRM software and tools like Microsoft Office.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Basic understanding of social media platforms for business purposes.
7. Technical aptitude to provide basic support and triage for customer inquiries.
