The Opportunity
The Family Violence and Customer Assistance Officer is responsible for delivering specialised support to customers experiencing hardship, financial difficulty, family domestic violence, and other forms of vulnerability. The role provides confidential, respectful assistance in line with the Central Highlands Water Customer Support Policy, Family Violence Policy, ESC Customer Service Code, and ESC Family Violence Guideline.
About You

We would be interested in hearing from you if you have:
1. Demonstrated experience in case management, reporting, customer service, or community support roles (essential).
2. Understanding of family violence frameworks, financial hardship, regulatory requirements, and vulnerability issues (highly desirable).
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with customers in vulnerable situations and apply trauma‐informed and customer‐centred practice.
4. Sound problem‐solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
5. Compliance with ESC family violence and hardship obligations.
