Occupational Therapist Opportunity
As a valued member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in Southern NSW Local Health District. The role requires effective collaboration with patients, clients, and families, as well as cooperation with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized plans to enhance their independence and participation in daily activities.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions to address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between hospital and community settings.
You will work across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community-based programs. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a regional area, with a willingness to drive/travel as required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
