About The Traineeship Program
Our annual intake provides opportunities across various council departments, which may include:
* Business Administration
* Parks and Horticulture
* Library and Information Services
* Animal Management
You get to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands‐on experience and complete accredited training through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. You don't need previous experience - just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to completing the qualification.

Eligibility
* Be a Queensland resident; and
* Be aged 15 years or older and no longer at school; and
* Be an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen; or
* Have a valid passport and a visa that allows you to work (permanent residence visa, temporary protection visa, or temporary residence visa); and
* Not have any existing qualifications in the field of study higher than a Certificate III
