Are you a Specialist Support Coordinator looking for growth opportunities?

Our client is a locally owned and leading NDIS provider in the top end and is seeking a passionate specialist support coordinator to contribute to their mission. These services include Coordination of Supports, Specialist Support Coordination, Specialist Behaviour Supports, and Music Therapy.


Overview

As a Specialist Support Coordinator, you'll work closely with individuals facing complex care and medical needs throughout their lives, helping them overcome barriers to implementing their NDIS plans. You'll build vital relationships with participants, their families, disability service organisations, clinical staff, and various government departments such as health, education, communities and justice. Your role is all about fostering a collaborative approach, ensuring support is person‑centred and delivered efficiently.


Responsibilities

* Demonstrated well‑developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work well independently and cooperatively as a member of a team
* Established ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy
* Well‑developed organisational skills, the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks


Qualifications

* Working with Children card; NDIS Worker Screening; Police check (within 6 months)
* Current driver's licence and road‑worthy vehicle
* Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office


What You Will Need to be Successful

* Be willing to obtain a bachelor's degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing or other Allied Health
* Current Australian driver's licence and road‑worthy vehicle
* Working with Children (Ochre) Card
* National Police Clearance
* First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening
* The right to work in Australia
