Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Steward,we are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Stewardto join our dynamic team.
TheKitchen Steward is a key role within our culinary team, working closely together to ensure our kitchensareorganisedandclean, ready to deliver to our guests.
In this role you will (but not limited to):
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
* Rinse dirty crockery and cutlery, stack in the dishwasher, unload and putaway.
* Wash pots by hand
* Ensure that all F&Boutlets are provided with clean and sanitisedoperating equipment.
* Use correct handling techniques to transport and store food items.
* Wipe down benches.
* Sweep and mop floors.
* Assist and liaise with chef on duty as required.
Qualifications
About You:
* Valid Food Handler's Certificate.
* Have an enthusiastic "can-do" attitude and a positive and motivated demeanour.
* Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
* Motivated & committedto work withourpassionateteam.
* Commercial dishwashing experience (desirable).
* Experience in a fast‐paced kitchen environment.
* An understanding onstock management and general kitchen cleaning skills.
* Adhere to safe work practices.
* Strong communicationskills.
* Havea good workethic and be a team player with a flexible attitude.
