At the ACCC, we believethe best version of you is the one that's true to who you are– and that's the you we want working alongsideus.We valueflexibility, and all roles can be performed from any capital cityin a state or territory or Townsville and are available on afull-time, part-time or job-share basis.Applicants fromdiverse backgrounds including First Nations peoples, people withdisability and those from different cultural backgrounds areencouraged to apply.What you willdo as the Legal Services FundingCoordinatorAs theLegal Services Funding Coordinator (LSL) you will work withestablished compliance and auditable processes and continue todevelop compliance requirements under the Legal Services Directionsand guidance notes as outlined by the Attorney-General'sDepartment.Workingunder limited direction, you will be responsiblefor:Liaising withinternal and external stakeholders regarding funding matters,including consultation on estimates, requests, budgets andoverspends.Preparing accurateand appropriately detailed reports for committees and boards,including monitoring and maintaining data for financialreporting.Advising andeducating internal teams in relation to the Legal ServicesFunding function and its processes.Reviewing andupdating process guidance to meet Whole of AustralianGovernment Legal Services Panel and other statutoryobligations.Working closelywith the Legal Services Directions Compliance team.AboutyouIn orderto succeed in the role, you will have:Relevant experiencein a legal/government funding environment is desirable, or theability to quickly acquire understanding of the requirements ofthe Directions and learn the ACCC's processes and systemsto ensure the agency's continuing compliance.Theability to show initiative and apply sound judgement andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and applypolicies and procedures.Astrong understanding of the ACCC's roles, and theimportance of activities and knowledge management across theACCC, or the ability to quickly acquire thisunderstanding.Theability to incorporate strategic thinking to lead and manageprojects, identify issues and propose suitablesolutions.Theability to work autonomously as well as work well in a highfunctioning team environment including leading and developingjunior staff to support the achievement ofdeliverables.To findout more about us and the role, please read the CandidateKit.How toapplyYou willbe asked to respond to the statement of claims of no more than 800words and submit your resume with key outcomes or what you are mostproud of in each role you have held (2 pages maximum)ApplicationsClose: 11:00pm (AEST), Sunday 11 May 2025
