This role plays a pivotal part in supporting children and families across NSW. It demands leadership, professional knowledge, strategic vision, reflective practice, and the ability to mentor and develop others.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote a high-performing team of caseworkers and support workers to deliver impactful, child-centric services.
* Apply expert knowledge of best practice casework to drive consistent, high-quality service delivery through quality assurance, continuous improvement, and the implementation of practice reform.
* Foster instruction, guidance, and support for caseworkers in all court matters, including the Children's Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, District, and Supreme Courts.
Requirements
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Welfare, or a related field.
* Demonstrate experience applying best practice casework with children, young people, and their families.
* Lead and manage teams in complex situations, including high-volume work areas.
