Your opportunity
As a Power Worker (Trade Assistant) based at Richmond, you will be a key contributor to the team, assisting our tradespersons with the construction, maintenance, inspection and associated activities on the electrical network throughout Queensland. You will be responsible for a range of duties including general trades assistance, site establishment, site preparation, transport and collection of materials from various job sites and operation of equipment such as lifter/borers, flatbed trucks, forklifts and cranes

The remuneration for your new role is from $92k % superannuation + applicable allowances.

Location Incentives:
Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $27,162 per annum
Housing Allowance – up to $11,024 per annum
Locality Allowance – up to $4,139 per annum
Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $10,000 after 2 years and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we'll pay you $15,000 at each milestone
Plus, when you decide it's time for a well-earned break, we'll give you an additional 5 days of annual leave per year to assist with travel to and from your chosen holiday destinations.
What you'll bring
* Current Drivers Licence
* First Aid Certification
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency
We'd also love you to have
* Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
* Availability for call out and emergency work.
* Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work.
