About the Role

This is a newly created senior leadership role reporting directly to the Founders.

1. You will be responsible for scaling the business through marketing initiatives and world class management of our e-comm store.
2. You will own the marketing strategy, campaigns and planning across the business.
3. You will manage the in-house creative team and bring structure to launches and sales.
4. You will work closely with the founders, particularly on campaign planning, performance insights and growth opportunities. You'll identify problems, find solutions and implement them.
5. You will continually optimise our e-comm store using a strategic, data-backed tech stack designed for scale.

This is not a corporate role.You will lead, decide, execute and continuously improve.

The Wolf Gang is a design-led fashion label based in Adelaide with a global footprint. 10 years on, we remain founder-led and have launched collections into some incredible retailers including Revolve, Shopbop, Ounass and Myer.

Our ecomm & wholesale businesses continue to scale YoY, and protecting the founders time to focus on creative, content & design is critical for the future growth of the brand. In a fast paced, ever changing environment we are looking for a key leader who is not afraid to dive right in and give everything a go to help us achieve our dream results.

Duties

* Lead the development and implementation of The Wolf Gang's marketing strategy across all channels, including digital, social media, content, and events, working towards budgets set by our Managing Director.
* Continue to scale our retail business by taking ownership of the P&L for our online store. Your success is measured in increased profit, revenue growth and ROI and will attract your bonus schedule.
* You aren't just "managing" Shopify; you are optimising it. From 3rd-party app stacks to merchandising and basic coding tweaks, you ensure the site is a high-converting machine at all times.
* Inform the strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat. You understand ad frameworks and have experience managing and working with an ecommerce media agency partner to pivot and optimise spends and creative.
* Take charge of our Klaviyo roadmap. You'll maintain and optimise automated workflows, craft copy that converts, build compelling lead gen campaigns that bring in real customers and work with our community manager to keep our audience engaged during BAU and sale periods.
* Implement best-in-class SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to keep TWG at the forefront of digital discovery.
* Analyse our data, identify opportunities and implement the solutions to facilitate growth.

Skills & Experience

* Proven track record of developing and leading successful marketing strategies in an e-commerce marketing & communications environment.
* Advanced Shopify skills are non-negotiable. You should be comfortable with audience analysis, profile development, automated workflows and CR optimisation.
* Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to measure and report on performance across all platforms. Data based decision making informs new strategies and identifies areas for growth and improvement.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proven experience managing a team is required. This role will be managing a small team and identifying and hiring new roles of support.
* Exceptional analytical, organisation & communication skills, with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
* Experience managing direct reports in a small or growing business.
* Comfortable working closely with founders, creative directors and making autonomous decisions.
* 6+ years experience in e-commerce, marketing and communications.

Formal qualifications are not required. Your track record of execution and judgment is what matters.
