Event Mascot and Assistant Wanted: Join the Fun at Memory Walk and Jog
We are seeking a charismatic Event Mascot to bring our beloved Al the Elephant to life at the upcoming Memory Walk and Jog event in Newcastle NSW. As our mascot, you will be responsible for wearing the costume, posing for photos, greeting participants, and displaying a friendly and animated persona. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference while having fun!
The costume includes a moulded head, body, hands, and feet, with limited vision and big enclosed feet that require an assistant. We encourage applicants to come as a pair, and the mascot and assistant volunteers may elect to share roles throughout the morning.
Requirements:
* Be 18 years or older
* Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) in the state location of the event
This is a one-off event role, requiring volunteers on the day from 6.45 am to approximately midday. In exchange for your time and energy, you will gain valuable experience, meet like-minded people, and contribute to a worthy cause.
Training and briefing will be provided prior to the event, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for the morning ahead.
