About the Role
* Develop strong relationships with clients by communicating effectively through various channels, using your interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Analyze diagnostic test results using specialized equipment and techniques to inform treatment decisions.
* Assist veterinarians during surgical and therapeutic procedures, adhering to industry standards and protocols.
* Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia according to provincial laws and regulations.
* Provide high-quality patient care by synthesizing veterinary theory and principles within the scope of provincial governing laws.
* Accurately document and maintain medical records, following established procedures and guidelines.
* Operate and maintain advanced veterinary equipment while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Evaluate diagnostic images and perform dental procedures in accordance with professional standards.
* Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage inventory levels as needed.
* Maintain a collaborative team dynamic and support colleagues when required.
Education Requirements
* Diploma in Veterinary Technician/Technologist program
