The Role
In this hands‐on role, you'll lead the Group Internal Audit Program, providing independent, risk‐based assurance and driving continuous improvement across our food safety and quality systems. You'll partner with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, NPD, and Supply Chain to support compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
Reporting to the Compliance & Regulatory Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage and deliver the Group Internal Audit Program, including scheduling, execution, reporting, and follow‐up actions
* Conduct audits across food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements
* Identify non‐conformances and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to closure
* Analyse audit trends and provide insights to identify risks and improvement opportunities
* Participate in external and third‐party audits, supporting audit readiness and follow‐up activities
* Work closely with Quality, Operations, NPD, and Supply Chain teams to drive best practice outcomes
* Maintain accurate audit documentation and ensure independence and confidentiality
* Support compliance with HACCP and related food safety programs
* Escalate critical risks and, where required, stop production to protect product integrity
* Identify continuous improvement and cost‐saving opportunities through audit outcomes
* Contribute to strengthening governance, compliance, and overall business performance
The Person
You're a detail‐oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment. You're confident engaging stakeholders and influencing outcomes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline
* Proven experience in food manufacturing quality assurance and internal auditing
* Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification
* Strong working knowledge of HACCP, VACCP/TACCP, and GFSI standards (e.g. BRCGS, SQF)
* Excellent report writing, data analysis, and problem‐solving skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Willingness and ability to travel between Patties sites
