About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Resource Geologistto join the high performing team with our leading mining client. This position is an 8:6 roster, 12 hour dayshifts for an initial 12 month duration.
Responsibilities and Duties:
4. Geological Data Collection from Drilling Programs
5. Interpretation of Downhole Geophysical Data
6. Sampling and QAQC of Geological Data
7. Data Input for geological modelling
8. Drill Program Designing for Grade Purposes
9. Delivery of Reporting Obligations and Tenure Maintenance
10. Adherence to Standards and Procedures
Skills & Experience Required:
11. Bachelor of Science in Geological Science/Earth Science or equivalent (Geology)
12. Current WA "C Class" Driverâs License â manual preferred
13. Demonstrated geology experience (1-2 years, iron ore preferred)
14. Vulcan and Excel software skills
15. Geological data collection, validation, interpretation and QAQC
16. Previous working knowledge of Pilbara Iron Ore geology or similar geological data collection and fieldwork.
17. Experience with data processing, QAQC and geological data validation.
18. Exposure to health and safety management and implementation systems â e.g. T5âs, JHAâs, Pre-starts, etc
