The scope of works includes the construction of complex concrete structures and associated civil works working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, WA.As The Project Engineer, You Will Be Accountable ForInterpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and proceduresComprehensive understanding of the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budgetCreate work programs for allocated work packagesManage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure complianceIdentify variations in work packages and submit list for reviewEnsure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirementsEnsure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirementsPrepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by ClientABOUT YOU:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering - A mustAt least 5 years post graduate experience working in a FIFO capacity as a Project Engineer with a contractor - A MustLarge FRP Infrastructure experience with concrete structuresExperience with P6 Planning/ Scheduling toolsExcellent written and spoken communication skillsWhat we offer:Whittens are committed to investing in our people, offering learning and development opportunities to build on the skills and experience you bring.
