Employment Opportunity: Radiologist with Interventional Radiology Expertise
Job Summary:
The Vancouver Island Health Authority Department of Medical Imaging in Victoria is seeking a full-time Radiologist specializing in Interventional Radiology services.
As a member of a team consisting of 29 Radiologists, including 5 other Interventional Radiologists, you will contribute to providing comprehensive care across multiple hospitals and clinics on Vancouver Island, BC.
This role offers a diverse range of interventional radiology services, encompassing body interventions, diagnostic neuroangiography, and endovascular treatment for ischemic stroke.
On average, the workweek consists of 2-3 days dedicated to Interventional Radiology and 2-3 days focused on General Radiology.
To be successful in this position, applicants must possess Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and meet eligibility requirements for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Experience in endovascular treatment for ischemic stroke is required.
