About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Most of the time, you’ll focus on administration, finance tasks, and customer communication. When the team is short-staffed or during busy periods, you’ll step into operations — helping with order processing and even packing in the warehouse if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Customer Service (Primary):
Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Process orders, prepare invoices, and maintain accurate records
Experience with MYOB is key.
Manage day-to-day office admin tasks — staff timesheets, purchasing sundries, stationery, and office equipment
Cross-check expense and services invoices for accuracy
Contact customers regarding overdue payments and manage accounts receivable/payable
Coordinate with suppliers, freight companies, and service providers
Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure customers receive timely updates
Operations Support (Secondary):
Assist with order processing during peak times or absences
Help with packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch when required
Conduct occasional stock checks and assist with basic warehouse organisation
Flexibility & Cross-Training:
We believe in a team that supports each other no matter what the day brings. This role includes full cross-training in both office-based and warehouse-based tasks so you can step in wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in administration, customer service, or operations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office — Excel (spreadsheets & formulas), Word (documents), PowerPoint (presentations)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Solid numeracy and accuracy for handling financial tasks
- Adaptability and willingness to help in different areas of the business
- Positive team player with a proactive attitude
