Location: Ballarat, VIC
The Opportunity
Join our new CDS team in Ballarat VIC as a Driver Leading Hand and make a real impact in container collection and recycling. You'll support the Operations Supervisor, assist drivers, promote safety, and drive a rear lift truck. This is a permanent full-time role which includes Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Responsibilities
Driving a rear lift truck
Helping with distributing drivers, managing run sheets and work orders
Act as the primary contact for truck breakdowns, swiftly resolving issues to minimise downtime
Monitoring daily schedules ensuring work has been completed
Demonstrate agility in handling unexpected challenges, making on-the-spot decisions to keep operations running smoothly
About You
HR Licence with proven experience is essential
Available for a 2PM start including Friday and Saturday afternoons
Knowledge around basic fatigue management
Excellent communication and basic computer skills
Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
