The role of Senior Social Worker (Truancy) is to provide professional support and supervision to Social Workers Truancy. This position works with preschools and schools to provide proactive and targeted services to support children and young people with attendance, engagement and retention concerns and their families.
Student Support Services provides integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs.

Key Qualifications
Essential: An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead extended course.
