We’re on the hunt for a Finance Officer who loves getting the numbers right and finding smarter ways to do things. You’ll be a key player in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while working alongside a team that values accuracy, accountability, and a good sense of humour. Description What You’ll Be Doing Keeping the wheels turning with accounts payable & receivable Reconciling bank accounts and balancing the books like a pro Supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and financial insights Maintaining accurate financial records (because details matter!) Maintain accurate financial records in line with organisational and NDIS requirements Ensure compliance with internal policies, NDIS guidelines, and relevant legislation Helping ensure compliance with policies and regulations Supporting audits and jumping into projects when needed Spotting opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Backing up the Finance Manager during BAS, IAS, STP and Payroll Tax time—because teamwork makes deadlines easier Multi-entity environment What You Bring A sharp eye for detail (you notice the 1-cent discrepancy ) Strong organisational and time management skills Solid Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero) Excel skills—you can tame formulas, reconcile data, and make spreadsheets behave The ability to work independently and as part of a team Clear communication skills—no jargon overload required A proactive mindset—you don’t just do, you improve Knowledge & Experience Demonstrated experience in an accounts or finance role, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable, including the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities Sound understanding of core accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and GST requirements, particularly in relation to supplier transactions Well-developed computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide a high standard of service to both internal and external stakeholders Proven organisational and time management capabilities, with the initiative to identify, investigate, and resolve financial and administrative issues effectively Qualifications & Certifications Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, supported by relevant industry experience Current, unrestricted Queensland Driver’s Licence Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Current Blue Card What’s in It for You Remuneration based on experience Opportunities for professional development, training, and progression within the finance team Build your skills, tackle new challenges, and grow your expertise every day Join a supportive team that values teamwork, communication, and celebrating wins Skills And Experiences Ready to Apply?
