About the Position:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll / Bookkeeper to join the team at their Mandurah office. This is a Monday to Friday role with some flexibility on hours. The position offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a friendly and professional team, supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Managing payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
* Interpreting and applying EBA conditions accurately.
* Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable.
* Managing intercompany billings and reconciliations.
* Assisting with bookkeeping duties using MYOB AccountRight.
* Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Supporting general office administration and reporting.
* Liaising with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Assisting with audits, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
* Undertaking ad-hoc tasks to support broader business operations.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in payroll and bookkeeping roles.
* Strong understanding of EBAs and payroll compliance.
* Proficiency with MYOB AccountRight (including Payroll).
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
* Experience in accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
* Construction industry background highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
