ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Underground Sampler to join our Geology team. This hands-on role is critical in ensuring the highest ore quality is delivered from our underground operations. You'll be collecting and dispatching geological samples, mapping ore headings, assisting with drill core processing, and supporting our geologists with accurate data capture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mark-up, sampling, and mapping of underground ore headings
Collection, preparation and dispatch of geological samples
Assist with drill core and sludge sampling programs
Liaise with geologists, jumbo operators, supervisors, and mine crews to ensure ore quality and minimise dilution
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and actively participate in safety initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Computer literacy (Excel, Word; exposure to mining software desirable)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical & provide National Police Clearance
Forklift ticket, Senior First Aid, Working at Heights (desirable)
