About the Role
* We are currently recruiting to fill multiple casual roles for the Communications Officer position within our State Operations Centre.
* Your primary responsibility will be to provide first point of contact for enquiries and requests for assistance, using a range of communication systems to log, update, and manage information in real time.
Key Requirements
* Excellent computer skills including the ability to touch type (with speed and accuracy) and competence with Windows based computer applications.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a time critical environment and high stress environment.
* Organisational skills including efficient time management, prioritising tasks, and working within defined procedures.
* Able to think clearly, logically and remain calm in stressful situations.
