About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator is responsible for managing workplace injuries and facilitating safe, timely, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes across operational sites.
You will be joining a small, dedicated RTW/Workers Compensation team, working closely together to deliver consistent, high-quality support to employees and leaders.
You will work closely with injured employees, leaders, insurers, and medical providers to coordinate rehabilitation and ensure compliance with Workers Compensation legislation. This is a hands-on, site-connected role where your support will make a genuine difference to employee wellbeing and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end return to work processes for injured employees
* Develop and implement individual return-to-work and rehabilitation plans
* Liaise with employees, managers, insurers, and healthcare providers
* Monitor claims and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
* Provide guidance to leaders on injury management best practices
* Ensure compliance with Workers Compensation legislation and internal policies
* Identify trends and support injury prevention initiatives
About You
* Early career professional with some experience in RTW, injury management, or a related field
* Sound knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation (or willingness to learn)
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine care for employee wellbeing
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
* RTW Coordinator certification (or working towards) is desirable
