Occupational Therapist Paediatric Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. The successful candidate will provide health and development check screening services, assessment and intervention for children aged 4 and above on community health waiting lists.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, and possess excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills.
Job Description:
* Salary: $54.77 – $56.54 per hour
* Employment Type: Temporary Part Time
* Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 3
In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. You will also be responsible for supporting and developing skills and knowledge in paediatrics for generalist Occupational Therapists in the district.
Requirements:
* Relevant Qualifications: Occupational Therapist degree and current registration with AHPRA
* Experience: Demonstrated recent and relevant experience in paediatric clinical practice, including assessment and intervention with preschool and school-aged children, group work skills, and case management in the community health setting
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, time management, and computer literacy, ability to analyse, interpret, and implement evidence-based practice
