Job Description

As a Business Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-level administrative support to our organization. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating procurement activities, and providing advice on procurement processes.

You will be responsible for administering accounts payable transactions, government card reconciliations, and representing our organization on committees and working groups. Additionally, you will administer business continuity, property, and facilities management for our office, including refurbishments and building maintenance.

You will also coordinate motor vehicle requisitions, servicing, and replacements, and ensure compliance with work health and safety procedures. Furthermore, you will supervise, coach, and develop corporate support staff, and undertake research and provide recommendations as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of business operations and administration. You will need a Diploma or tertiary qualification at degree level in law, public procurement, purchasing management, or similar. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A driver's licence is essential for this role, and you will need to possess sound analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you will require the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
