About this Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner for our West Coast operations. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will work collaboratively with the wider Human Resources team to deliver the organisation’s Human Resources strategy and support the achievement of the broader business goals.
To be successful the following is required:
- Significant experience working in a similar role with knowledge of Human Resources practices and strategies including remuneration and benefits, industrial relations, succession planning, performance management
- Delivering efficient, best practice and customer focused Human Resources processes
- Providing guidance, coaching, advice, and day-to-day operational and strategic support
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to partner with senior business leaders
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise bargaining and negotiation
- Experience liaising with Unions
- Undertake investigations and run disciplinary processes where required
- Identify people trends and recommend solutions to address with leaders
- Supporting, identifying, designing, and implementing processes and system improvement
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage a high workload and multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously
Our ideal person will be a team player with a high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and initiative, who will bring to the role demonstrated capabilities in all areas of the Human Resources Team.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist role with sound knowledge of HR policies, employment and industrial relations, and best practices
- Knowledge of / aptitude for HR systems and processes
- Previous experience working as a HR Business Partner / in an internal consulting role providing advice and support to leaders
- Strong business/commercial acumen with a track record of developing strong relationships internally, externally and across business units
- Tertiary qualified
