**About the Opportunity**
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Facilities Management (FM) & Project Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the Capital Works & Facilities Management teams, ensuring the efficient and economical management of infrastructure and facilities related works within the Immigration Detention & Justice Contracts. Your primary objective will be to ensure the provision of a safe, cost-effective service that meets the standards specified in the applicable contracts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing project management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives, encompassing time, budget, compliance, and quality targets. This is a fixed term contract, with the potential for permanency based on outstanding performance and organizational needs.
**What you'll be doing**
- Manage the FM Mailbox which is used by all sites for submission and all queries
- Review all site submissions, reformatting, correcting, and ensuring costing is accurate
- Raise purchase orders (SAP) and work orders (MEX/MRI) when and if required
- Adapt to complex and evolving environments, meeting demanding business objectives and requirements
- Utilize strong skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project, to support project administration tasks effectively

**Your ideal skills & experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a complex environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
- Capacity for innovative thought and action, with the ability to work effectively in a team or autonomously with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
