Construction / Site Manager
Location: South Sydney - Menai & Heathcote
Payrate: $100,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-time
Commencement Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee the delivery of residential apartment developments (Class 2). As the key point of contact on site, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise trades and labour, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
This role suits a hands-on leader with strong construction knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Duties
* Coordinating site activities in line with construction programs and priorities
* Producing schedules and monitoring workforce attendance
* Allocating daily tasks and responsibilities to trades and labour
* Supervising and training workers and subcontractors
* Ensuring adequate manpower, materials, and equipment are available
* Enforcing safety standards, OSH guidelines, and quality requirements
* Supervising the use of machinery and equipment
* Monitoring site costs and ensuring works remain within budget
* Resolving on-site issues as they arise
* Reporting progress and issues to Project Managers and senior management
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Construction / Site Foreman
* Minimum 5+ years' experience on Class 2 residential apartment projects
* Strong understanding of early works trades (excavation, piling, shotcrete) and civil works
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints
* Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving ability
* Good physical condition and stamina
* High school certificate or trade qualification
* Builder's Licence not required
