Position Title: Senior Video and Photography Producer
Employment Type: Labour Hire Contract (approx 4 months with potential to extend)
Location: Canberra (with interstate travel required)
Hourly Pay Rate: $65.21 – $74.29 per hour + 12% Super
Security Clearance/Requirements: Must hold Baseline security clearance at time of application
Working Arrangements: Onsite in Canberra with travel as required
ABOUT THE ROLE A Federal Government Department is seeking two experienced Senior Video & Photography Producers to support a creative production and design team delivering high-quality multimedia content for national programs and campaigns.
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, producing and delivering engaging video and photographic content that aligns with government branding, accessibility standards and Australian Public Service requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for creative professionals who can manage productions end-to-end while working within a fast-paced government environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan, direct and produce video and photographic content across pre-production, production and post-production phases.
* Operate professional camera equipment and manage lighting, audio recording and production setup.
* Oversee editing, colour grading, captioning and audio description to meet accessibility standards.
* Coordinate logistics for Canberra-based and interstate filming, including scheduling, releases, permits and risk assessments.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver creative outputs aligned with campaign objectives and brand standards.
* Provide additional production support and related duties as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Demonstrated experience producing professional video and photographic content end-to-end.
* Strong technical capability across filming, lighting, sound recording and post-production editing.
* Experience working within structured brand and accessibility frameworks.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tight production timelines.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Experience working in government or highly regulated environments is desirable.
ELIGIBILITY
* Australian Citizenship required.
* Must hold Baseline security clearance as time of application.
* Willingness to travel interstate as required.
