We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent / Receptionist to join the front office team at the Best Western Chaffey in Mildura. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service in a busy accommodation environment.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from arrival through to departure.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting and checking guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner
* Managing reservations and updating guest accounts accurately
* Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
* Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
* Providing local information and assisting guests with requests during their stay
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
Present professionally and communicate confidently with guests and colleagues
Have strong computer and administrative skills
Be organised and able to maintain accurate account and booking information
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Be reliable, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
Ability to work AM or PM shifts
Weekend availability when required
Previous reception or hospitality experience highly regarded but not essential
Experience with hotel reservation systems is advantageous

This is a Casual Position over a 7day roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays. In addition, applicants must be immaculately presented (uniform provided). Full time hours may be offered for the right candidate.
