In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with partners to shape audit strategy, oversee planning and execution, and nurture strong client relationships. You’ll also lead and mentor high-performing teams, ensuring excellence in delivery and compliance with professional standards.**This role requires fluency in both Mandarin and English**, strong technical expertise in IFRS and ISA, and a proven track record in managing complex audits. Experience in cross-border engagements and industries such as TMT or Retail will be highly regarded.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead and manage end-to-end audit engagements, ensuring quality and compliance.* Develop audit strategies and risk assessments in line with firm and regulatory standards.* Supervise and mentor audit teams, fostering capability and performance.* Review deliverables, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations.* Manage client relationships, budgets, and timelines across multiple engagements.* Stay current with IFRS/ISA standards and uphold quality, ethics, and risk protocols.**Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills*** Fluent in both spoken and written **Mandarin and English**.* Degree in Accounting or related field, with a recognised professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA).* 6–10+ years’ audit experience, including team leadership and complex engagements.* Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and local standards.* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes.* Experience in cross-border or multicultural environments and industries such as TMT or Retail is highly regarded.Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading qualified services firm.
