During a federal event, you will act as an APS Level 6 Divisional Returning Officer, overseeing the election process in your designated electorate.

* You must be an Australian citizen
* You cannot be actively involved in political affairs or intend to publicly carry on this activity, as it may compromise the AEC's neutrality
* You must consent to undergo, obtain, and maintain a character clearance
* You must also consent to undergo, obtain, and maintain the required security clearance for this role
* You may be required to undertake psychometric testing as part of the recruitment process
