Xavier College is excited to offer a newly created opportunity to join our passionate and future-focused Flexible Pathways Team, in the role of Pathways and Transition Officer.
As Pathways and Transition Officer, you will work closely with the SACE Flexible Pathways Coordinator and the wider Flexible Pathways team to empower students through Vocational Education and Training (VET), School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT), and Workplace Learning experiences.
In this role you will:
- Plan and expand VET and Microcredential offerings that align with student needs and Curriculum goals.
- Support students in discovering real-world pathways through VET, SBAT, and Workplace Learning programs.
- Liaise with RTOs to integrate competencies into the school curriculum and ensure program alignment.
- Administer enrolment processes for VET, SBAT and Workplace Learning experiences.
- Manage WHS, legal documentation and conduct pre-placement visits for high-risk work placements.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and uphold data integrity across College systems.

About You
We are seeking multiple professionals who can demonstrate:
- High-level advanced administrative expertise, ideally in an education, VET, or training environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under minimal direction.
- A commitment to student outcomes, safety and compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience working in Vocational Education and Training within schools (highly desirable).
- A proactive, flexible and student-centred mindset.
