Job Description:
The Director of Finance and Business Support plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of an organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with excellent leadership skills, analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct daily financial activities, develop and implement financial control procedures, and maintain records for internal and external audits.
* Develop and implement financial control systems to ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements.
* Manage hotel contracts, including vendor leases, service contracts, sub-leases, and government grants.
* Ensure internal controls are in place and conduct regular Control Self-Assessment reviews.
* Maximize cash flow performance through inventory management, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits, and remittances.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
* 4-8 years' experience in hotel accounting or audit.
* Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and champion change.
