This role will be offered as a job share opportunity on an 8 days on, 20 off roster - commencing late April
Fortescue is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Operations Planning team at Christmas Creek on a job share arrangement. As a Mine Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our success by ensuring the precise capture and delivery of spatial data to support various stakeholders across our operations. You\'ll be part of a team-driven culture that prioritizes safety, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Timely and accurate provision of all spatial data deliverables.
* Collaborative work with stakeholders for effective output generation.
* Monthly reporting of pits and stockpiles for comprehensive insights.
* Building positive team relationships and contributing to our values-driven culture.
* Upholding safety standards and promoting a secure work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Australian work rights either permanent resident or citizen
* Hold a Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mine Surveying.
* Possess over two years of surveying experience, with experience in open pit mining operations desirable.
* Proficiency in GNSS, Total Stations, and UAVs for precise data acquisition.
* Familiarity with Maptek software (Vulcan and Point Studio) - desirable.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
* Hold a current WA C-Class manual driver's licence.
