Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT – Yarrawonga NT
Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Darwin based small team.
You will be working on Vermeer HME Plant: Surface Mining & Renewable energy, Horizontal Directional Drills, Vacuum Excavators and Environmental Equipment.
Please note this is a Permanent Yarrawonga-based role, we are negotiable for your roster during season, peak period hours between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Would suit a Mechanic, located in Greater Darwin Region. Some infrequent non-rostered Field Service requirements throughout Northern Territory and NW & Western Australia might be required.
Duties will include:
* Carrying out plant equipment maintenance and overhaul repairs.
* Workshop and Field service support.
* Ordering parts (where necessary) from suppliers.
* Assisting in, delivering parts, machines, and warehouse duties.
* Carrying out mechanical and safety customer equipment appraisals.
What you will need to have to succeed in this position:
* Must have valid Australian work rights.
* Must hold valid manual driver's licence.
* Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
