We're seeking a passionate, disciplined chef/line cook with strong culinary skills and attention to detail to join our growing kitchen team.
What we're after:
* Experience in Japanese/Korean cuisine or similar Asian cooking (preferred)
* Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes precisely
* Understanding of FIFO stock rotation and food safety protocols
* Excellent hygiene standards and food handling knowledge
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure
* Good English communication skills for clear teamwork
* Professional attitude with respect for premium ingredients
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing and cooking menu items to exact recipe specifications
* Maintaining consistent food presentation and quality standards
* Proper ingredient prep, labelling, dating, and storage protocols
* Daily stock control and waste reporting
* Comprehensive kitchen cleaning and sanitation duties
* Following all food safety and hygiene requirements
* Supporting the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
