Teaching Automotive Trades
We are seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team as a trainer and assessor. As a VET teacher, you will be responsible for delivering training for the Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Your role will involve preparing students for the workplace by sharing your real-world expertise and knowledge of the education and training sector. You will need to have a relevant qualification in mechanical technology or similar, and be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment if not already completed.
You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to providing quality education and training to our students. As a VET teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of light vehicle professionals and make a real impact in the trades industry.
The successful candidate will have:
* A relevant qualification in mechanical technology or similar
* Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment if not already completed
* Knowledge of the education and training sector and ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market
* Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered
