The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Urgent Care nursing operations.
This full-time, Monday to Friday position offers excellent work-life balance — no night shifts, weekends, or overnight work.
As a key leader in the team, you’ll oversee day-to-day clinical operations, provide mentorship and guidance to nurses, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. Your Responsibilities
· Clinical Leadership and Training:
o Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
o Support professional development through coaching, training sessions, and performance feedback to ensure staff consistently deliver safe, high-quality care.
· Operational Oversight:
o Oversee daily nursing operations across multiple clinics, ensuring efficient workflows, timely patient care, and seamless coordination between teams.
o Address operational challenges proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to care delivery.
· Quality and Compliance:
o Drive continuous improvement by conducting regular audits, reviewing clinical outcomes, and implementing corrective actions where required.
o Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
· Workforce Planning and Development:
o Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for nursing staff, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
o Develop clear career pathways and professional growth opportunities, supporting staff progression within the organisation.
· Strategic Collaboration:
o Partner with senior management, clinicians, and allied health professionals to design and implement innovative care models.
o Act as a key point of contact for interdepartmental initiatives, ensuring nursing perspectives are represented in decision-making.
· Workplace Health & Safety:
o Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring all nursing practices comply with WHS legislation and internal safety protocols.
o Monitor incidents, hazards, and near-misses, implementing preventive measures and reporting in line with policy.

About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in either primary care, community or general practice or acute or emergency nursing
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- A passion for patient-centred care and building strong team culture.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment desirable but not essential.
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
