Landscape Architect - ( 250001MF ) Description About the role Our established Landscape Architecture team is looking for a Landscape Architect to join us on a permanent basis, within our Wollongong, Sydney or Melbourne offices.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Stantec's national landscape design team, delivering landscape architecture services to both external and internal clients.
You will have the opportunity to support the design, visualisation, and documentation on a wide range of landscape projects, including community development initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (planning, stakeholder engagement, ecology, environmental science, engineering, transportation planning) to provide landscape design and advice.
Our team specializes in parks and open spaces, urban public spaces, multiuse pathways, roadway enhancements, healthcare, commercial and residential developments, habitat enhancements, watercourse restoration, urban forestry, and Low Impact Development.

Day to day tasks would involve: Conceptualize, design and document landscape architectural design packages, using a range of tools and programs.
Prepare supporting design documents, i.e.
Design reports, Construction Specifications, Opinion of Probable Costs etc.
Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and presentations, and by building positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
Collaborate with senior landscape architects and multidisciplinary teams to promote landscape architecture services both internally and externally.
Stay informed on industry standards, emerging design trends, and best practices to enhance project quality and support ongoing professional development.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications To be successful for this role you'll need: Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture.
Minimum 3 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a Landscape Architect in your current role.
Registration with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is an advantage but not essential.
Support can be provided for candidates working towards becoming a Registered Landscape Architect.
Solid skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop and InDesign), and MS Office.
Experience with 3D rendering software an asset but not essential.
Ability to work alone and coordinate within a team to achieve project deadlines.
Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and graphic).
