Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our team at King Street Private Hospital in Newcastle. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality peri-operative and inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver physiotherapy services both on the ward and in the on-site clinic
* Provide safe discharge planning and facilitate successful transitions from hospital to outpatient rehab
* Guide patients through pre-operative education and post-operative recovery
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to refine treatment protocols and review patient outcomes
* Use objective measures to guide treatment and recovery
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements
* AHPRA recognised Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree
* Current AHPRA registration
* Valid working rights in Australia
* Active Professional Indemnity Insurance
* First Aid Certification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
Desirable qualifications include 1+ years relevant work experience and previous private practice experience.
