About the role As the Coordinator Parks Maintenance, you will manage a skilled team responsible for maintaining a wide range of park assets including footpaths, lighting, playgrounds, seawalls, irrigation systems, and recreational facilities. You’ll work closely with the Parks and Streetscape unit to deliver high-quality service, support strategic planning and capital works. Key responsibilities Lead and coordinate maintenance of hard infrastructure in parks and open spaces. Oversee inspections, audits, and repairs of assets including playgrounds, pathways, lighting, and waterplay parks. Collaborate on asset management plans and provide input on design development. Manage contractors and consultants to ensure service delivery standards are met. Promote a culture of safety, diversity, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies. Enhance digital capability and service delivery through technology.
