Occupational Therapist Job Summary
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessments and interventions to support clients' independent living.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating client progress in a multi-disciplinary setting.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
2. Provide effective and efficient occupational therapy services to clients in their own homes or other settings.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Case Managers, Allied Health Professionals, GPs, and other healthcare providers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
4. Prepare detailed reports that meet the standards of funding bodies, such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare, and HCP Providers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a similar multi-disciplinary setting.
* Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Proficiency in using relevant software and systems to manage client information and coordinate care.
