Strait Link is a freight connection across Bass Strait. We are looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to join our growing Indirect Sales team. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with customers, including freight forwarders, agents and third-party logistics partners. The goal is to ensure they receive consistent and reliable service and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily relationships with assigned freight forwarding and agency customers.
* Be the primary point of contact for service, pricing, bookings support and account queries.
* Develop account plans in line with customer requirements and commercial targets.
* Track customer performance and address variances proactively.
* Support contract reviews, rate updates and service changes.
* Collaborate closely with customer service, operations and commercial teams.
* Build a deep understanding of your customers' operations and advocate for their needs within the organization.
Requirements
* Proven experience in account management, ideally within logistics, transport or freight.
* A service-first mindset with a passion for delivering value.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
* Commercial acumen and an understanding of how account performance links to business outcomes.
* An organized and detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple customer needs.
