About the Role
Reporting to the CEO you will lead the end‐to‐end retail function across a high‐touch, experience‐led store network. This is a hands‐on, people‐first leadership role where you will shape service standards, drive commercial outcomes, and build a culture that thrives on meaningful customer engagement.
You will oversee all aspects of retail operations including sales performance, service delivery, store experience, people leadership, coaching frameworks, and operational execution.
A key focus will be embedding a high‐touchpoint sales environment rather than an operational‐led business. One where teams take the time to understand customer needs, deliver personalised service, and create memorable interactions that drive loyalty and repeat visitation.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading a national retail network with a strong focus on service excellence and commercial performance
* Ability to make decisions quickly to drive sales via VM and in store promotions
* Managing a large store network with concession across Australia
* Embedding consistent service standards across a high‐engagement, relationship‐driven retail model
* Coaching and developing Store & Area Managers to lift capability, product knowledge, and selling behaviours
* Driving operational efficiency, store presentation, and brand consistency
* Leading strategic initiatives to improve customer experience, conversion, and team performance
* Partnering with cross‐functional teams across Merchandise, Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain
About You
You are an experienced National retail leader with a proven track record of driving performance in high‐service, customer‐centric environments. You understand what great looks like on the shop floor and know how to build teams that deliver thoughtful, solution‐based service at every touchpoint.
You bring:
* Strong multi‐site leadership experience within premium, lifestyle, or experience‐led retail
* Sales and number led, knowing what levers to pull to ensure sales targets are hit week on week
* Ability to influence and persuade senior leaders
* A coaching driven leadership style that lifts capability and builds high‐performing teams
* Deep understanding of high‐touch retail and the behaviours that drive conversion and loyalty
* Commercial acumen with the ability to balance service excellence and sales outcomes
* Strong operational discipline and the ability to execute consistently across a national network
* A collaborative approach and the confidence to influence at executive level
