SEMH HLTA | What's on Offer:
* Competitive Outer London Salary (HLTA scale, dependent on experience)
* Permanent, full-time role starting May/June
* 36 hours per week, term-time only
* Work within a brand-new SEMH provision in a mainstream primary setting
SEMH HLTA | The Role:
* Lead and deliver small group and one-to-one SEMH interventions across the primary phase
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour strategies
* Work closely with teachers to plan and adapt learning for individual needs
* Take responsibility for delivering planned lessons in teacher absence where appropriate
* Contribute to behaviour support plans, EHCP targets, and pupil progress tracking
SEMH HLTA | Who We're Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level
* Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in a school or similar setting
* Experience in PRUs, Alternative Provisions, or SEN schools is desirable but not essential
* A university degree is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and confidence leading small groups
* Calm, resilient approach with the ability to manage challenging behaviour
* Ambition to contribute to the development of a new specialist provision
